Nekobayashi
An expression worth keeping.
Nekobayashi’s One Piece illustrations make faces and gestures easy to read: broad smiles, raised hands and strong silhouettes sit inside clean, confident contours. Rounded shading gives bodies weight, while curved strokes, cloth and weapons carry movement around them. Quiet portraits use softer backgrounds and room around the figure; action scenes bring hands and blades close to the viewer.

Joy in a small frame.
Otama’s closed-eye smile is framed by soft, warm light and the rounded objects around her.

A curve around the blade.
A bright curved sweep follows Tashigi’s raised sword and separates her from the background.
