At Sabaody, his Glint-Glint power turns light into a means of devastating pursuit. The pirates facing him discover how little their own readiness matters when an admiral can close the distance and attack with such overwhelming speed.
The Navy’s reach
A warning beyond one battle.
His appearance at the archipelago brings the Navy’s highest fighting strength directly into the young pirates’ journey. For the Straw Hats, the encounter belongs to the collapse of their confidence at Sabaody, where reaching the next sea proves very different from being ready for it.
