02 / A — The character’s story
Making space for resistance
How can the power to move the earth change who gets to stand their ground?
The story here runs through Lulusia and the commanders’ preparations for the Reverie.
The West Army
A giant in the movement.
Morley serves as commander of the Revolutionary Army’s western force, bringing her strength into a cause built around challenging oppression. Her expressive warmth and enormous presence belong to the same person, resisting any easy separation between gentleness and power.
Lulusia
Changing the ground beneath the fight.
Using the Push-Push Fruit, Morley can reshape the terrain that others must cross or defend. At Lulusia she joins the commanders helping the townspeople resist Peachbeard, making that unusual ability part of a collective victory rather than an isolated display.
A shared direction
Strength that works with others.
Morley travels with the commanders as the Revolutionary Army prepares for the Reverie. The movement gives her power a purpose beyond the battlefield: opening possibilities for people whose lives have been constrained by stronger rulers.
