The Golden Lion
A name from Roger’s era.
Shiki belongs to the generation of pirates that fought for dominance while Roger was alive. His reputation and escape from Impel Down connect him to that earlier age, making the Golden Lion a survivor of a struggle the world has already begun to leave behind.
Strong World
Taking the navigator he needs.
In STRONG WORLD, Shiki recognises Nami’s skill and abducts her for his plans, placing the Straw Hats’ navigator inside his floating domain. His ambition turns her ability to read the weather into something he expects to command, threatening the freedom her crew has helped her win.
The return
A crew refuses his terms.
The Straw Hats return for Nami rather than accepting the bargain Shiki tries to impose. Their confrontation ends his film’s scheme, setting a crew’s determination to recover one of its own against an older pirate’s attempt to dictate the future.
