Silvers Rayleigh

Living in a stolen boat after his home burned down, Rayleigh's fate changed forever when Gol D. Roger invited him to turn the world upside down. Serving as the First Mate of the Roger Pirates, the 'Dark King' was renowned as a master of all three forms of Haki and a swordsman capable of standing toe-to-toe with the strongest warriors of the Golden Age.

Decades after the crew disbanded, Rayleigh settled in the Sabaody Archipelago as a coating mechanic. Intervening to shield the Straw Hats from Admiral Kizaru, Rayleigh recognized Roger's inherited will in Monkey D. Luffy, taking him to Rusukaina Island for two years to teach him the mastery of Haki, preparing the boy who would become the next Pirate King.
