Bashikou
Colour carries the action.
Bashikou’s One Piece illustrations often send ribbons of colour, sharp highlights and sweeping diagonals around a clearly outlined figure. Saturated blues and greens meet hot pinks, oranges and golds; even a crowded scene has a strong gesture to follow. The catalogue also makes room for quiet portraits, where softer light and open space replace the surrounding spectacle.
