Kozuki Oden

Too wild and free for the closed borders of Wano, Oden spent his youth causing chaos in the Flower Capital before taming the lawless wasteland of Kuri and becoming its beloved daimyo. His hunger to see the outside world led him to grab the chain of Whitebeard's ship, enduring three grueling days dragging through the open sea to earn a spot among the crew.

Sailing alongside both Whitebeard and Gol D. Roger, Oden used his ability to read and carve the ancient Poneglyphs to help guide the Oro Jackson to Laugh Tale. Returning home to find Wano oppressed by Kaido and Orochi, Oden endured an hour in a boiling pot of oil holding his retainers above his head, ensuring the dawn of Wano would survive his death.
